Rupert has over 30 years of experience in HR, consulting, and management, across various sectors and regions. He is currently a Senior Advisor at KPMG Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining KPMG, Rupert held senior positions in the public and private sectors, including between 2016 and 2022 as the first UK Government Chief People Officer, Group HR Director of Lloyds Banking Group, and Partner at Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. He is also an entrepreneur, through his roles at Lincoln Storm Group Limited and as a founder of Optimal Organisational Outcomes LLP (3XO). He is passionate about education and social impact, serving as the Chair of the People Committee of the Haberdashers' Academies Trust South, a member of the Chartered Management Institute's Board of Companions, and is the independent member of the University of Oxford’s People Committee. He is a Companion of the CIPD, CMi, a Fellow of CIMA, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He is a member of CIMA’s Business of Government Working Group.
