As the UK prepared to host the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), the government outlined its ambitions for the domestic climate and environment policy agenda. Collaboration across the sectors will be vital to ensuring that the framework put in place is robust; utilising evidence-based targets, while drawing from both industry insights and academic research.
WIG was delighted to welcome a cross-sector panel of experts to discuss how the expertise coming out of the UK's academic institutions can be best integrated into policymaking and industry developments, during this pivotal year and moving forward.
