Covid-19 presents unprecedented challenges for us all. The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) have been working closely with the rail industry, government and passenger groups so rail staff can safely maintain and operate a reliable railway for people making essential journeys and for freight. But as we start to begin easing out of lockdown and more and more people resume travelling for work, the way in which we use rail services is changing and greater pressures will be placed on safety.
