Decarbonising heat is a crucial component in achieving the UK Government's Net Zero carbon emissions target. Like all aspects of the decarbonisation challenge it will require collaborative action across the sectors to identify and implement low carbon solutions for homes, businesses and communities throughout the UK.
Following publication of BEIS's 'Hydrogen Strategy' in August 2021, and with the forthcoming 'Heat and Buildings Strategy' in mind, this session will offer you the opportunity to:
- Build your understanding of low carbon heating solutions, such as heat pumps, district heating. electrification and hydrogen.
- Discuss cross-sector perspectives on the funding, incentives and innovation needed to make decarbonised heating a reality.
