A recording and overview of the WIG Webinar: Addressing Regional Productivity Throughout the COVID-19 Recovery with Centre for Cities and Be the Business
Following a cross-sector panel with Be the Business on Enhancing Productivity at the beginning of the year, and a session with the Centre for Cities on the Devolution Agenda back in April, we were delighted to be joined by Andrew Carter, CEO of the Centre for Cities, and Louise Sunderland, Director of Programmes at Be the Business.
Andrew and Louise will be addressing regional productivity in the context of a COVID-19 recovery, looking in particular at the impact of COVID-19 on productivity, and how to address the skills agenda as part of a recovery from the pandemic.
By joining this webinar online you will have the opportunity to:
- Understand the effects that the COVID-19 outbreak has had on regional productivity and growth
- Hear of the impact on both devolution and regional skills, and what this means for the government's 'Levelling Up' agenda
- Learn about the various ways that government, local authorities and the private sector have been approaching the productivity agenda through the current health crisis
