After almost four years at the helm, I shall be moving on from The Whitehall & Industry Group (WIG) later this year. I am returning to my maritime roots as a Maritime Global Market Development Director for CAE Defense & Security.
I am delighted to say that WIG continues to grow its membership and does more things with more people than ever before.
Vicky Browning will be taking over as the interim CEO, as WIG looks for a permanent replacement to start sometime in the new year. Any interests or suggestions can be registered or forwarded via the contact details below.
My time at WIG has been hugely satisfying. It has been a privilege to have worked with such an able team to further its purpose of facilitating and increasing collaboration, understanding, and learning across the public, private and NfP sectors.
As a final thought – As the last five years have illustrated, significant issues and complexity do not appear and neatly disappear. We live with an increasing web of implications that will continue to make achieving our goals challenging. WIG exists to allow our members to understand the landscape better by comparing solutions, making important connections, building leadership capacity, and by providing the opportunity to work together. My time at WIG has persuaded me that embracing the diversity of this cross-sector approach is no longer discretionary.
Thank you for your involvement, encouragement, input, and continuing championing of WIG values.
